For a Great Startup company in Herzliya position) We are seeking a Backend engineer. ● 3+ years of backend development experience with Python or Node.js. ● Strong experience with PostgreSQL ● Proven ability to design and build cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as ECS S3. ● Experience integrating AI/ML APIs (e.g. OpenAI AWS Bedrock Gemini) into real-world applications. ● Experience building and maintaining event-driven architectures ● Familiarity with system design principles including tradeoffs in database models consistency models and modular API boundaries. ● Experience with observability tooling (e.g. CloudWatch Datadog Sentry) and building systems with operational visibility in mind. ● Strong foundation in software development best practices including unit testing integration testing Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines. ● Comfortable in an agile iterative development process with regular code reviews and architecture discussions. ● Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document and explain decisions and systems.
