A fast-growing Startup with team developing productivity and communication systems used by millions globally is seeking a Backend developer! The ideal candidate is passionate about backend technologies, eager to continuously learn and grow, and motivated to make a meaningful impact. Your primary technology stack will be centered around Node.js. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive backend functionality for our mobile application. Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and delivery. Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance our product offerings and infrastructure. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define software requirements and specifications. Requirements: 2 - 4 years of experience in backend development. Proficiency in Backend Languages: Strong experience in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Node.js, C#, or Go. Database Management: Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, including query optimization, schema design, and data modeling (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). API Development: Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations. Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing application performance, debugging bottlenecks, and ensuring system scalability. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a rapidly changing development environment. Advantages: Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Knowledge of backend security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection. Experience with real-time communication protocols, including both Server-to- Server and Client-to-Server interactions. Experience in front-end development using pure HTML/CSS/JavaScript or frameworks like React/Vue. Location: Full time position, non hybrid. Tel Aviv, Karlibach metro station.
