A new lab at the Department for Postharvest Science is looking for a talented postdoc
The Wittenberg lab studies the mechanisms by which chloroplasts the organelle that performs photosynthesis are transformed into chromoplasts organelles that produce and store carotenoids. We are also interested in how ROS and redox affect chilling injuries during storage.
The role:
We are looking for a highly motivated talented and committed postdoc researcher to join our research group. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in plant molecular biology biochemistry or related fields. Experience with plastid biology redox signaling or omics approaches is highly desirable.
